Best Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening (I skipped the shortening and used 1 cup butter)
1/4 cup sugar
1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups chocolate chunks (or chips)














1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.




2. Combine flour and baking soda.




3. In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, shortening, pudding mix, vanilla, and almond extract.




4. Mix until well blended.




5. Add eggs and mix well.




6. Beat in the flour mixture.




7. Stir in chocolate chips.




8. Drop by rounded teasponful and bake 10-12 minutes. I made the big version, used a ice cream scopper and baked for about 16 minutes
